You are invited to join us for a unique opportunity to meet some of the people who participate in our work programs at our 2nd annual Discover Washington’s Hidden Workforce Employer Forum in October at the Washington State Fairgrounds Event Center. Individuals releasing from prisons may have the skills, abilities, talents, work history and motivation to fill your employment needs. Please consider learning more about this hidden workforce and allow them the opportunity to compete for jobs within your organization. At the event, you will hear from three key discussion panels:

• Employers who hire formerly incarcerated individuals will discuss the benefits of hiring CI workers
• Currently incarcerated individuals who work for CI will break down stereotypes of society’s beliefs about people with criminal backgrounds
• And finally, employees who have released from CI and are successfully employed will share their experience with reintegrating into the workforce.
